If you saw Matt the Electrician on tour in July and wondered who was with him, well... he had an Austin super group of sorts with him... the sought after Jon Greene on drums, Seela and Scrappy Jud Newcomb.

Did you Know...

...that Dave Sanger of Asleep at the Wheel played drums on and recorded Matt's first album, Baseball Song?

It's true.

Did you know that the signature on Matt's now famous banjo-lele belongs to none other than Danny Barnes of the Bad Livers? Or that Jake Zuckerman, who played on Matt's 2nd album Home also played on a Bad Livers album?

Or that SouthPaw Jones is rad? Yep.

Fans of the sport of baseball might like to know that the gentleman on the cover of Baseball Song is really Matt's grandfather, who played semi-pro ball with Joe DiMaggio on the San Francisco Seals of the Pacific Coast League.

Did you know that before Matt opened for the Asylum Street Spankers in August, that Guy Forsyth (formerly of the Spankers) lended his talents to Matt's latest album, Made for Working.

Matt does several songs (Buck Tempo, Lawn Darts and More Bad Times) by a band called Ed's Redeeming Qualities. Never heard of the band but love the songs? Learn more about the band here.
